Spa Cultures: Ancient, Actual, Avant-garde & Eternal

Spa Consciousness & Cultures: Ancient, Actual, Avant-garde & Archetypal (Past, Present, Future & Forever) presents a brief review of spa as a civil institution for individual and social regeneration in world cultures, global civilization, & the cosmos.

Looking back and re-viewing the lengthy history and deeper meaning of spa throughout world cultures, we can discern and identify a vastly expanded context, forms, and processes of spa that can serve a higher purpose for the future of civilization and cosmos.

Outlining some fundamental terms, definitions and language for a discussion of spa cultures, we search, scan and scrutinize the archetypal roots, stems and flowerings of spa culture, especially in the western world and speculate as to what these origins might mean for the future of global humanity.
