High-end Sound and Light Design
The German designer collective 3deluxe was formed in 1992 in Wiesbaden by the graphic designers Andreas and Stephan Lauhoff (3deluxe graphics), the interior architect Nikolaus Schweiger and designer Dieter Brell (3deluxe interior). The interdisciplinary team now encompasses 24 persons with a background in art, graphics, architecture, media or product design. This broad competence spectrum allows them to develop holistic design environments with common and complementary aesthetic in graphics, medial environment and architecture.
After initial projects in the pop-culture environment of MTV and Pro 7 or for sport labels such as Burton and Carhartt, 3deluxe achieved international acclaim with their “scape Jugendmedienwelten” (youth-media-worldscape) for the Expo 2000 in Hanover. Exhbition environments followed for the Credit Suiss Group (Cyberhelvetia Pavilion, Expo 2002, Switzerland) and the German Football Federation (FIFA Football globe 2006). In July 2004 the Cocoon Club opened in Frankfurt, a new club and gastronomy concept for the DJ-Icon Sven Väth. 3deluxe are currently working on a museum project for crystal and optics company Swarowski and a corporate headquarters for glass manufacturers Leonardo.
